From start to finish we were treat like royalty. Resort was stunning restaurants fantastic with loads to choose from in all alcarte & buffet & snack bars. All the staff couldn't do enough for you. Too many to name but afew that stood out was modeso from bloved, Daniel from beach bar & Roberto smoothie guy from buffet breakfast. Rooms were stunning & spacious. Fantastic place to stay highly recommended
A solid hotel with a good location

We spent 14 nights at this hotel between the end of August to mid September. Before booking this hotel, we spent a lot of time checking other reviews as well as other hotels in area. I must admit some of the previous reviews made us question whether this was the right hotel for us and if it was a 5 star standard. After spending 14 days, we’re pretty happy with the overall experience. We lived in the duplex suite which offered us a nice pool for our evening drinks. The housekeepers were good and they were always smiling and greeting us. The breakfast and lunch buffet was good with a lot of different options. There is however four things we wish were better/different: 1. The quality and portions in the restaurants were a bit off. The plates was usually 80% carbs and 20% protein. In other words there was a lot of potatoes and rise etc, but little meat, fish etc. Would much rather have less rice etc. This was pretty much a thing in all the restaurants. The overall quality was rather low on the food from the dinners we had. 2. The communication between the staff team within the restaurants did not always work. There was several times where we ordered something, and we never got it or heard back from them. This also happened in the beach where they were walking around taking orders. 3. This may not be negative for a lot of people, but the music is too loud several places within the hotel area. Outside of the reception in the evenings was just way too loud when they had live music. Also in some of the restaurants like Siwichi it was hard to have a conversation with my partner, and we’re both between 25-30 years old. 4. I would say max 20 % of the staff speak English. And that’s at a very basic level (except for the reception and bellboys, they were easy to communicate with in English).
