Paradise for honeymoon

Amazing all together! The staff are fun, respectful and welcoming. Definitely recommend for honeymoon. Might not be great for picky eaters but they offer options for them too! (Eg, pizza and nachos etc). Great amenities. Modern decor, clean pool and beach. And most importantly you feel SAFE 24/7. Lots of peacocks and wild birds and little cats. Great vendors.
Be careful if you have any dietary requirements!

Myself, my fiancè and family visited this resort in June. We stayed for two weeks from 15 -29 June. To say the least I am very disappointed with the staff and the resort itself. We have stayed here before in 2022 and loved it. I was diagnosed with a medical condition before arriving for the second time to this resort. I have to follow a special diet in order for my condition to not worsen. I cannot consume any meat products + many more. I found it really difficult to eat at this resort. After a couple of days of basically living on salads and chickpeas, which is not good enough for this resort I decided to mention this issue to guest services. Mirla in guest services was super helpful & understanding of my situation. She tried her best to help me and would contact the restaurants for me with my allergies. Many restaurants said “they didn’t know” about my issue and I really struggled to find anything to eat. My condition eventually started becoming worse and i had to spend a couple of hours each day in our room feeling sick due to my medical condition and the inadequate nutrition. I had many issues in the a la carte restaurants. Staff extremely rude, didn’t understand my health issue. -In the wasabi restaurant, I asked for the tofu noodles & have received chicken instead (I can’t consume meat). When I asked for the waitress to take this away, she got passive aggressive by grabbing the plate away & then proceeded to wave her hands in the air when walking away from our table. - At buffets items were mislabelled, I had consumed food by accident due to mislabelling of items. This is unacceptable. -The “vegetarian menu” on the app wasn’t even able half of the time. They didn’t have any items from the menu upon multiple occasions. -At our “honeymoon dinner” in Samsara, the staff said that there is no vegetarian options. I was ultimately shocked with this as we were staying in the honeymoon suite & guest services apparently relayed the information to the restaurant. I got told that i can only have a “side salad” as an option for our honeymoon dinner. To be treated this way, is appalling for a alleged 5 star resort. I come to this point here now an absolute gem to the resort- Mr. Enrico that works in the Il Tartuffo restaurant. Mr Enrico literally saved my life when we stayed in this resort. He was the only person that quite literally catered to my needs. Thank you so much Mr Enrico, you have really made a huge positive impact on me. Mr. Enrico took the matters into his own hands & quite literally went into the Samsara restaurant to cook me food, when the other staff didn’t even bother to try. For a chef, to go cook food in another kitchen for you deserves such good praise, when the other staff made me feel so unwelcome. We have dined at the Il Tartuffo restaurant many times following this as I knew that I was in good hands. Mr. Enrico spoiled us with so many choices and beautiful dishes, which was exceptional to me. He made such a difference and made my stay so much better after experiencing all of this. Thank you again Mr. Enrico for everything. He also made us a cake on our last day! He is a true gem! Everything else, was fine. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the nature aspect of this resort is fantastic. However, if you have any allergies or dietary requirements please stay clear. It is absolutely unacceptable to be treated this way if you have a medical condition I spent many hours sick in my room due to the pure negligence of staff in this resort. It is a shame, because it is a beautiful resort that I would have loved to return in the future. The staff in general were very polite & lovely- I loved cappuccino, SOHO and PBG. The staff were exceptional. They tried to always cater to my dietary requirements. Thank you to the bar lady at the platinum pool that always made us baby Guinness shots! Could wish of a bar lady like that everyday!
