Starting May 1 and continuing through October 31, 2024, Hilton La Romana will be conducting insulation work on the air conditioning pipes across various buildings within both the adults-only and family resorts.
While this work is necessary to ensure optimal guest comfort in the long term, the hotel anticipates there may be some noise, particularly in the specific buildings/floors where the work is being carried out.
From August 30 – October 5, 2024, Spice Market Buffet at Hilton La Romana Family and Noor a la carte restaurant will undergo work on the roof.
o The buffet will be available for guests to enjoy at an alternate location during this time.
o The Mediterranean menu will be served at a different location where two a la carte restaurant menus will be alternated ensuring that guests don’t miss any specialty during their vacation.
o The roof work will only take place during the day and noise will be minimal.
From September 23-28, 2024, the Water Park at Hilton La Romana will be unavailable due to routine maintenance.
o Fortunately, due to its location, guests should be unaffected by any noise.
Although some noise may be heard, all efforts will be made to minimize impact to guests during this time.

Great resort. Food quality was excellant and above expected. Able to always find peace and quiet. Staff was super friendly and attententive. Jose Rosario at Blue Bar makes a delicious drink with a friendly smile and great cocktail suggestions. Will definitely be coming back.
FOURTH TIME I'VE BEEN OVER THERE

It's a huge and complete facility BUT I guess some problems should be tackled. Year by year something is lacking. Last year , a huge seaweed invasion on the beach was removed three days later ( beach was not accessible) , entertainment is barely lacking after 10 pm, room service is not the same it used to be, if compared with 'Dreams La Romana' (before becoming 'Hilton La Romana'), some restaurants are almost not accessible for booking is not permitted and at 8 pm you can find a very long list of families up to 3 hs waiting, changing money at lounge is impossible (I tried three times), many inside shops don't accept payment by cash and I could go on....
