My wife and I had an unforgettable experience at Live Aqua Beach Resort in Punta Cana. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles, a refreshing cocktail, and even a complimentary hand massage, which was the perfect way to start our vacation. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The 24-hour room service was an absolute luxury, and having a personal butler was a nice touch that made us feel truly pampered. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, from fresh fruits to cooked dishes. The quality and freshness of the food were impressive, and my wife especially loved the mimosas, which made each morning even more enjoyable! Special shout-out to **Frank** and **Jeile** for making our wonderful breakfast omelettes and crepes – they were amazing and always started our day with a smile. The beach was stunning—clean, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing walks and lounging. The staff, in general, were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy, whether at the beach, pool, or restaurants. The TUI representative on-site was also fantastic, providing great support throughout our stay. Now, for some areas where there is room for improvement. There was some construction work ongoing on both sides of the property during our stay, which was initially a bit disruptive. However, the management quickly resolved the issue by moving us to another room, which made all the difference. If you prefer absolute quiet before 11 p.m., it’s worth requesting a room away from the main lobby, as the live music outside—while lovely—can be a bit loud. We also had some concerns with the butler service. We didn’t see our butler on the first day due to his 12 days on, 3 days off schedule, which isn't ideal for a 14-night holiday. Unfortunately, after giving him a $40 tip, we didn’t see him at all for the last 4 days of our stay, which was disappointing considering the premium service expected. Additionally, as UK citizens, we found that tipping culture at the resort could be a bit frustrating, particularly with some of the bar staff. At the VIP beach bar area, it seemed that if you didn’t tip upfront, you could be overlooked by the waiters. We prefer to tip for good service rather than to receive service, but in some cases, it felt like tipping was expected just to get consistent attention. The VIP bartender in the main building wasn’t particularly friendly either, which was disappointing. Despite these minor issues, Live Aqua Punta Cana provided a truly luxurious and lively vacation. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a high-end, lively getaway who doesn’t mind tipping regularly upfront for good service!

I've stayed at multiple resorts in the Caribbean (mostly between the Dominican Republic and Cancun), and this is the only resort I've gone to twice. This time around i brought my mother in law as well as my step-daughter and her boyfriend. Our family likes to have fun, but not over the top partying that goes wild. Live Aqua has fun and engaging entertainment, and a main pool with upbeat music, but also side pools that are more private and quiet (I believe 5 pools in total), as well as beach access. In my opinion, I set expectations at all-inclusive resorts to be mostly just ok, but not at Live Aqua. The food here was spectacularly delicious. The entertainment is funny as well as engaging. The facilities were nice and the views breathtaking. All of that being said, for us it was the staff that made all the difference. Every single staff member greeted me with a smile, a greeting, and a respectful placement of their hand over their heart. They anticipated what I wanted to drink, eat, and remembered my name when they saw me again. There are so many memorable experiences that will make a lasting impression, but the most memorable was what they did for my step-daughter. Her birthday was coming up, and I asked one of the staff to recommend a local restaurant where she could experience authentic Dominican cuisine (my step-daughter's wishes). The staff said they could recommend a place, but that we did not need to leave the resort and would make a Dominican meal especially for us to experience. My step-daughter was open to the idea. They booked a private room and did not disappoint in the slightest. The food was amazing and we felt like celebrities, especially since the food they made could not be found in any of the restaurants and was made especially for us. My wife and I stayed in the Fuego suite with an individual pool that we enjoyed at night before going to bed. Thank you Live Aqua Punta Cana for making memories for us that will last a lifetime!
